The Logitech Squeezebox Boom is, to date, the best sounding media streaming system we have tested; you can tell that a lot of time and money was put into the design of this system. A few small tweaks would make this the end-all of portable radio players. An iPod dock feature is certain to make a number of people happy, and an integrated FM radio tuner seems like no-brainer. We might even recommend adding a little flair in the way of aluminum trim to help make the player... Read more

Logitech Media Streaming Device Fills a Room With Boom Give us enough time and equipment and we'll put a speaker on anything. Seriously, a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g. Cars, televisions, wrist watches — just about every gadget is made better with extraneous sound. So, when we'd heard that Logitech was releasing a hybrid of the music-streaming Squeezebox Duet and a boom box, we were all ears. Ironically enough, they call it the Squeezebox Boom. Put simply, the Boom is an all-in-one... Read more

The Squeezebox Duet Network Music System , the previous update to Logitech 's Squeezebox line of music streaming devices, was missing one thing: speakers. A natural progression from a company that makes top-notch speakers for PCs and iPods , the appropriately named Boom looks like a mini boom box. And it incorporates all the familiar Squeezebox streaming features, including wireless access to your computer's... Read more

  4. First Look: Logitech Squeezebox Boom Overview

The new Boom seems to be a good, and logical, addition to the Squeezebox family of products, which includes the Squeezebox Duet network music system, Squeezebox network music player , as well as the audiophiles’ choice (and my personal favorite), the Logitech SLim Devices Transporter network music player. The Logitech Squeezebox Boom network music player is available now in the U.S. and Europe for a suggested retail price of $299.99. Read more

With such hi quality sound and it's versatility of formats, I would love if they added an HD AM/FM tuner. Now that would be the real cherry on top. Read more
