Onkyo CS-515

The Onkyo CS-515 is a CD receiver system with a main unit that measures 8.07 x 4.57 x 13.90 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 9.48 pounds. It also comes with two speakers. Each speaker measures 6.57 x 11.73 x 9.72 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 9.04 pounds. The system is available in plain black or a combination of beech and silver. Both colors come with an aluminum front panel.

CD Player

The CS-515 has a single-disc capacity tray-loading CD player. Apart from playing audio CDs, the Onkyo CS-515 plays MP3-encoded CDs.

Radio Tuner

The Onkyo CS-515 comes with a built-in AM/FM radio tuner with 40 presets. It has a tuning frequency range of 87.5MHz to 108.0MHz for FM radio and 522kHz to 1611kHz for AM radio.

Speaker System

The CS-515 comes with two 2-way bass reflex speakers, each with 20 watts of output power. The speakers have 13-centimeter A-OFM monocoque diaphragm woofers and 3-centimeter ring-drive tweeters.

Through the Onkyo CS-515’s aero acoustic drive, it is better able to produce more powerful and natural sound. The system is also equipped with V-Line Edge which allows it to counteract unwanted diaphragm vibrations.

Additional Features

The Onkyo CS-515 has a built-in digital clock with timer functions. This timer can be used to prompt the system to play specific songs or record at a preset time. It can also be programmed for single or everyday timed playback or recording.

The player ships with an infrared remote control and it is compatible with Onkyoís RI dock that is made for iPods.
