Sony CMT-EH10

The Sony CMT-EH10 is a Hi-Fi micro system that, while compact, still features an adequate 10 watts of total power. This space-saving system is composed of two full-range bookshelf speakers and the main unit which measures 6.5 x 9.3 x 10.4 inches (W x H x D) and features a top-loading CD player, a cassette deck and a digital AM/FM tuner.

The CD player, which loads one disc at a time, can read CDs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs as well as MP3-CDs. Playback modes available on the CMT-EH10 include track programming, shuffle, and repeat.

The cassette deck is a four-track, two-channel stereo unit that has a simple to use recording feature. The cassette player can be set to begin the recording as soon as a CD starts playing and can also record from the radio. Users can also configure the CMT-EH10 to start recording from the radio at a specified time.

The AM/FM tuner is digital and features RDS decoding. It also has 30 presets: 20 for FM radio stations and 10 for AM stations.

The Sony CMT-EH10’s two bass-reflex speakers each feature a 3.1 inch subwoofer, a 1.6 inch tweeter, and a 0.8-inch supertweeter. Each speaker measures in at 5.7 by 9.3 by 6.1 inches.

Sound enhancement features include a built-in equalizer with 7 presets and Sony’s Dynamic Sound Generator and X-tra Mega Bass technologies.

Other notable features of the CMT-EH10 are PC/audio inputs which can be used for portable media players or PCs.
