HTC Touch
The HTC Touch PDA phone from the Taiwan-based High Tech Computer Corporation was launched in June 2007. The first editions of the HTC Touch, also referred to as the HTC P3450, came with 128 megabytes of Flash ROM and 64 megabytes of SDRAM and was available in two colors: Soft Black and Wasabi Green. An updated version, the P3452, was released in November and featured twice the amount of memory and two new colors: White and Burgundy. Both the older and newer models have a microSD card slot for memory expansion.
This PDA phone has a 2.8 inch TFT LCD touchscreen running at QVGA (240 x 320 pixels) resolution, a 2 megapixel CMOS color camera, WiFi b/g connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0. The device runs on Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional platform and has handwriting recognition software built-in.
Main Features
The HTC Touch’s main and unique selling point is its user interface. Dubbed TouchFLO, the interface is capable of recognizing sweeping motions made by either the user’s fingers or the included stylus. The phone’s multimedia functions (photo album, music and video player) and photo-based address book navigation can all be done through finger gestures. The TouchFLO’s finger and stylus gesture-based navigation has brought on comparisons to the Apple iPhone, although the HTC Touch was released a few weeks earlier and does not feature the multi-touch gestures of the iPhone.
With the Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.0 software powering the HTC Touch, the device comes loaded with, among other things, Pocket Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and a PDF Viewer) and the Internet Explorer Mobile (or PocketIE) web browser.

HTC Touch Review: An iPhone It Is Not
Reviewer: review.crunchgear.com1 day agoOverall, the HTC Touch is one of the better Windows Mobile phones I’ve seen in awhile. The lack of a QWERTY keyboard can be overlooked after a few days of practicing using the on-screen keyboard. Plus the screen looks fantastic, the WiFi is fast, and the TouchFLO interface is pretty fun to use. On the other hand, no US release date, a terrible camera, and the fact that it’s still a Windows Mobile device make the Touch seem unappealing at times. I’d recommend getting i... Read more

HTC Touch Dual
Reviewer: mobiletechreview.com10 June 2008- Overall 8

I have too many phones on my desk, including a Nokia N95-3 , LG Vu , iPhone , HTC Touch Diamond, Treo 750 , Samsung BlackJack II and more. Yet I find myself gravitating to the Touch Dual thanks to it's comfortable and pocketable design, fast 3G, Windows Mobile power/tweak-ability and HTC's TouchFLO "classic" which speeds access to common tasks and adds an element of fun without bogging down the device. It's cute more than it's sexy, competent rather than bleeding edge... Read more

HTC have not been a dominant force In the cell phone industry; or rather they have been, but usually from behind the scenes selling phones to brand partners and carriers around the world. There has however been a shift inside the company’s structure as they begin to mold and shape their destiny with their own branding. The best way for any company to do this is to make something stand out from the crowd. Somehow with increasing pressure from the entire industry, they ... Read more

The Touch offers a wealth of features in a small package and the innovative Touch Cube interface allows users to take advantage of the TouchFLO screen. This screen technology gives users quick access to many one-touch features, such as text message and photos. The Touch's audio quality is not great, but this phone provides a solid smart phone that is perfect for on-the-go professionals to stay organized and in touch. The de... Read more

Sleek, do-it-all-fast-as-hell gadget!!!!
Reviewer: My First Review "Eric", Amazon4 weeks ago- Overall 10

Ok, so this is my first review of any product anywhere but I'm a bit 'inspired' by this gadget. This is my first smartphone, almost my first cell phone and my first tv in about 5 years lol So I jumped right in and honestly have NO regrets...(and i can't stop looking at this gadget lol) I tried out for a few days the tilt but found the signal strength in my area unacceptable (i couldn't get a signal all day at work)...I also didn't like the 'bugs' on it which seemed to... Amazing Upgrade
Reviewer: screwmesa, Phone Scoop05 June 2008- Overall 10

I upgraded to the Touch Dual from the Tilt (8925) and have to say that I have absolutely no regrets. I was worried that I would hate the 20 key qwerty coming from the Tilt's full qwerty, but after a week of getting the new xT9 to learn the words I normally use I have no issue texting one handed. The touch screen feels much more responsive and programs feel slightly snappier than that of the Tilt. Pocket IE is still pretty useless (not HTC's fault), so I would recommen... Read more
