A big thumbs up overall though. Nokia has listened carefully to the feedback coming from early N95 users and has addressed just about every criticism and done it in style.  The original device enjoyed several major firmware updates and countless extensions via the Download! application and I'd expect this to see the same attention from Nokia. And when you compare the 8G version with our Editors' Choice N82, the new N95 includes HSDPA compatibility and the storage but lacks a media card slot and the Xenon flash. What's more, it costs almost $200 more, so the N82 keeps its Editors' Choice award. In the final analysis, however, as long as you have the cash and you don't need a QWERTY keyboard, it's tough to go wrong with either one of these powerful devices. Read more

Compounding the matter are Rogers' restrictive data plans. While a $7 monthly plan provides unlimited web use, virtually every other feature, including GPS data, non-Rogers downloads, and even other web browsers -- racks up a high per-kilobyte cost. Wi-Fi helps soften the blow, but the phone was designed from the start to download and run many Internet-aware apps -- and without those, it becomes an expensive media phone rather than the inexpensive mobile computer it w... Nokia N95 8GB is everything that the N95 standard should have been. A complete tool that features everything that someone can expect from a mobile phone. Moreover, all these features are at the highest standards, which transforms the N95 8GB into something more than a mobile phone. This is the real 'multimedia computer' Nokia has been talking about all these years. The device simply proves to be the best product ever made by Nokia up to these days. Even if the future ... I don’t usually buy a very technical cell phone, Even if I have money to buy one, I always choose to buy cheaper cell phones because I thought it doesn’t worth it. I used to believe that cell phones are only used to communicate. Not until I discovered the Nokia N95 8Gb unit. I was truly amazed of it’s great features. Boasting with eight gigabytes memory plus expandable memory, this gadget offers 6000 songs and up to 20 hours of videos. With it 2.8” Q VGA display monit... Read more
