Pioneer DV-LX50

The Pioneer DV-LX50 is a tabletop DVD player that measures 16.5 x 4.0 x 12.3 inches and weighs approximately 11.7 pounds. This high-end DVD player, which comes in a black color with a high gloss finish, features a design intended to provide smooth and stable performance. Its stiff, double-layered chassis construction minimizes noise and interference from external sources and allows the optical pick-up to function smooth and stable.

The DVD player accepts DVD-Video, DVD+R/+RW, DVD-R/-RW, Double Layer DVD-R/-RW, Double Layer L+R/+RW, DVD-Audio, SVCD, VCD, SA-CD, CD, and CD-R/RW disc types. The DV-LX50 can playback DivX and WMV movie files; MP3 and WMA music files; and high resolution JPEG photos. The Pioneer DV-LX50 also offers the simultaneous playback of music files (MP3 and WMA) while viewing JPEG photos. The player also has a progressive scanning feature.

The DV-LX50 can output images at full HD 1080p (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and also features upscaling.

Built-in audio decoders include Dolby Digital (5.1 channel), DTS, DVD Audio and SA-CDs Multi. The DV-LX50 features Dynamic Range Control, Virtual Surround as well as Bass Management.

The various connector types offered by the Pioneer DV-LX50 include HDMI, Euro-SCART, component video terminals, S-Video, 5.1 channel audio, and digital audio (optical and coaxial). These terminals all feature gold-plating to ensure the most efficient connection.

Included in the standard package is a wireless remote control.
