I did a lot of research online before I decided to buy this nuvi. I have been using my nuvi for about a month now and it stopped speaking. It happened when I updated my map online with the free update. I tried the faq's and they did not help. I emailed product support and received an immediate reply. They helped me to fix the problem. To make a long story short, but hopefully helpful to someone interested. I have owned or had experience with Tom Tom, Magellan, Sony, and Harmon Kardon. I recently picked up the Garmin nuvi 760 this year. It is by FAR the best GPS system I have owned or ever used!! It has the fastest most detailed routing, and it is by far the most accurate unit I have ever used. It has taken me pretty much to the doorstep of every address I have thrown at it. The Nuvi 760 is absolutely amazing and a great price too! I recently upgraded from a C330 and let me tell you, technology has advanced quite far ahead since this then. The charger is quite durable and the model is slimline and very easy to view during the daylight hours. It quickly and easily charges via USB connection to your computer or via the auto charger.
