  1. NAVIGON 2100 max and NAVIGON 2120 max GPS Personal Navigators Review

    01 July 2008

NAVIGON is working to build a reputation for affordable yet, top feature packed GPS navigators. It’s rapid grab of market share and quick population of bestseller lists since its entry into the personal navigation market nine months ago are evidence that consumers agree with it’s focus. In March, NPD Group reported that their Retail Tracking Service was showing that NAVIGON had achieved an 11.5 percent (unit volume share) and fourth position in the personal... Read more

I love the details and the signs of McDonalds and gas station logos ... How cool! The turn by turn directions were as good as dead on the money. eg. Turn right onto SR7, and you're right there. The womans voice tells me to rotate. Although not the sexy, but it will do. Most of the time you can not voice calls cause the speaker is not loud enough. I have nothing more to say, I only recommend it! Read more

"This is my second GPS, my first being a Garmin. I was looking to stay with Garmin but I wanted it also to provide traffic reports. Garmin and other GPS's have it but you have to pay a annual fee plus the GPS's cost more. I got it with the 2100 Max for free and for life of the product. The traffic report works great and very accurate in the Milwaukee, Wi. area where I drive over 50 miles a day. A real time and headache saver. You need to have the cord plugged in because... First of all, I believe Patrice's review is based on 2100, not 2100 max. They are not the same at all. The scenic option he mentioned is not available on 2100 max. Now it my turn. I only have 3 complains; slow route calculation, low number of POI, and flimsy holding mechanism. I've been testing this unit with Garmin 760 side by side for a few days. I really like 760's fast route calculation and 6M POI, but that's pretty much it. On the other hand, I like the Lane... Read more
