HTC P6500

The HTC P6500 is a PDA, mobile phone, GPA navigator, media player, and camera in one device that was released in April 2008. It measures approximately 2.87 x 5.41 x 0.81 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 7.76 ounces. It is powered by a 400-MHz Qualcomm MSM7200 processor and runs on Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional with Pocket Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF viewer).

The PDA can be controlled using the included stylus and the 4-way navigation wheel with an enter button.

Display

The P6500 features a 3.5-inch TFT touch-sensitive screen with a QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) resolution and supports up to 65 thousand colors. The touchscreen is equipped with handwriting recognition functions.

Memory

The HTC P6500 comes with an internal memory of 1 gigabyte. It also has two SDIO expansion slots.

Battery

The device is powered by a 1500-mAh rechargeable lithium ion battery that can last up to 7 hours and 40 minutes of talk time and up to 400 hours of standby time.

Mobile Phone

 The HTC P6500 also functions as a quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE mobile phone.

Media Player

The P6500 supports playback of AAC and MP3 files and can be used to store audio and video albums. It outputs audio through the built-in stereo speakers. The device also has an integrated microphone for voice recording.

Camera

The PDA features a 3-megapixel camera that shoots at a maximum resolution of QXGA (2048x1536 pixels).

Connectivity

The P6500 connects to other devices through Bluetooth 2.0. It also supports wireless connectivity through IEEE 802.11b/g.
