The Aurvana Live! Headphones from Creative Labs was designed and acoustically tuned by the Singapore-based company to reproduce natural and life-like sounds. It has powerful neodymium magnet drivers with an ultra-thin bio-cellulose diaphragm which has the sound velocity advantages of both aluminum and titanium diaphragms as well as the warm sounds of paper diaphragms. According to Creative, these technologies helps the Aurvana Live! to produce realistic sounds similar to a live performance.
The headphone’s 3.5 x 3 inch earcups feature a closed-back design that doesn’t let sound escape. The earcups are shaped specifically to minimize the distortion of certain frequencies inherent in most closed-back headphones. The Aurvana Live! has also been designed with ergonomics and comfort in mind. Its earpads are made of soft leatherette material while the headband is padded and adjustable.
The Aurvana Live! is lightweight and easy to carry at only 7.4 ounces. Included in the package is a microfiber carrying pouch which can also function as a polisher for the glossy black surface of the earcups.
The Creative Aurvana Live! has a cord 4 feet in length and ends in a gold-plated plug. The gold plating also aids the quality of sound production by improving the electrical contact making for clearer audio transmission.
In addition to the microfiber travel pouch, the Creative Aurvana Live! package also ships with a 1/4 inch stereo adapter as well as an extension cord (which also has a gold-plated plug) measuring about 5 feet.
Vivid performance for music connoisseurs.

Both the Sony and Sennheiser models fold up for better portability, as well, making them better for stuffing into a backpack. Still, the Aurvana Live ... Read more
