Plantronics Discovery 925
The Plantronics Discovery 925 is a very stylish Bluetooth earpiece for mobile phones. The Discovery 925 is small and very lightweight at only 0.28 ounces. It measures 2.7 x 0.9 x 0.5 inches (Length x Width x Depth) and features Plantronics’s elegant VFrame design. The Discovery 925’s earpiece body is a rounded square with the boom microphone tapering to a point, forming a hollow triangular shape. It is available in numerous fashionable metallic and jewel tone colors. The earpiece’s Bluetooth antenna is located in the boom microphone and gives it a maximum range of up to 33 feet.
The designer Discovery 925 is powered by a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery that gives it a talk time of up to 5 hours and stand by time of up to 168 hours. Included in the box is a spare battery. The batteries can be charged via the bundled wall charger or the USB charging cable. The included leather carrying case, which has its own built-in battery, can also double as a charger and connects to the Discovery 925 via a micro USB connector.
Additional accessories included in the box are three “self-stabilizing” ear tips of different sizes to ensure buyers find the perfect fit. These ear tips eliminate the need for over-the-ear hangers to keep the earpiece in place.
In addition to the support for the high speed Bluetooth 2.0 EDR specification, the Discovery 925 also features Plantronics’ AudioIQ technology which minimizes background noise. Other notable features include QuickPair for simple set up with Bluetooth-enabled phones as well as voice activation.

As far as performance goes, the Plantronics Discovery 925 Bluetooth Headset ($89.95) is a very good headset. Earpiece volume was good, the connection between the 925 and phone was solid, and a good amount of background noise was filtered out. The only weak spot was the odd twist it would put on my voice at times. You could still hear me without problems but it made my voice a little unrecognizable. Read more

I have been waiting on a bluetooth this awesome for a long time. I have had 5 bluetooths and none of them compare. I had the Plantronics 510 which my ear was not big enough for, a Jabra 250 which I could not hear on, the LG (sorry don't remember the model) that just stopped working and another Jabra and a Motorola.
