List All 7 PricesThe MDR-AS30G from is part of Sony’s active line of headphones targeted at the fitness enthusiast. A 30 mm diameter dome type neodymium driver unit handles the sound production. It has a short cord measuring 2 feet which comes out only on one side and ends in a gold plated straight stereo mini plug.
The Sony MDR-AS30G features a sporty behind-the-neck construction and over ear discs that have a unique feature that Sony calls the “stability tip”. The stability tip is an earbud like protrusion that rests just outside the ear canal, which is designed to keep the headphones in place and also produce deeper bass. The shape and the flexibility of the neckband further helps in keeping the headphones in place during activity as it pushes the ear pieces towards the sides of the wearer’s head.
The short 2 foot cord is designed to be used with portable music players on arm bands. The cord is single-sided which keeps it out of the way and minimizes tangles. For those who keep their music players in bags or their pockets, an extension cord measuring about 26 inches is included in the box. The Sony MDR-AS30G can also be folded flat for easier portability. The included carrying pouch is compact and made of hard plastic; protecting the earpieces while the neckband acts as a handle.
The Sony MDR-AS30G’s removable ear pads can be washed after each use and are very quick to dry.
The Sony MDR-AS30G behind-the-neck active style headphones are perfect for joggers with a single-sided cord that minimizes tangles and the 2-feet length is perfect for music players on arm bands. For added convenience, the unique "stability tip" provides a secure fit in the ear, preventing drops. The flattening structure makes for easy portability and a hard carrying case is included. They will be available soon at Sony Style store for $29.99. Specifications: ► Freque... Read more
