The Altec Lansing VS4121 has controls for powering the speaker on and off as well as for adjusting the bass, treble and volume levels. The control knobs as well as the mini stereo 3.5 mm headphone jack are located on the face of one of the satellite speakers.
The speaker package ships with the necessary cables (one audio cable measuring approximately 6 feet and a Console Gaming Y-adapter). The wires are conveniently color-coded to make setting up the VS4121 even easier.
The VS4121’s 2-way satellite speakers utilize full range 1 inch micro drivers and 3 inch mid-bass drivers. Each speaker features 2 micro drivers (which have been specially engineered to provide crisp high end sounds) and a single down-firing mid-bass driver.
The Altec Lansing VS4121’s subwoofer has a front-firing design and features a powerful 6.5 inch long-throw woofer for tight and solid production of low frequency sounds.

Just got these an hour back and they are one of the best speakers I have ever heard! The tweeters are just too good and they make u hear stuff in your music that u would've never heard before. One word of advice place the speakers a little above the ground as they are downfiring and dont sound nice if placed on a carpetted floor. Now the woofer! The system has an impressive hiss sound when no music is played, the sub sounds very bad, it can't handle low frequencies..the specs are way way tooo far optimistic.When moving the right satellite cord, it introduces avery annoying hiss in the speakers.Overall, nothing but a piece of junk.
