one word. AMAZING! when I read comments below I thought people were really exagarating. I just connected this baby and I really cannot believe how great this system is. I just returned the Bose Companion 3 that I bought for $250 dollars. No joke but the highest output on the bose was this systems half volume. Superb for a 2.1 but partially lacking in technology

These speakers are really great and the satellites deliver a natural mid range. They merge very well with the subwoofer to bring movies to life. The soundstage is very wide and at times I'm almost convinced that there's a pair of surround speakers behind me.
