one word. AMAZING! when I read comments below I thought people were really exagarating. I just connected this baby and I really cannot believe how great this system is. I just returned the Bose Companion 3 that I bought for $250 dollars. No joke but the highest output on the bose was this systems half volume. No problems with hook up. Although some may not like the wired remote I have no problem with it. No batteries to worry about!!! Awsome sound for not a lot of money. They also match my XPS420 to a tee. You just can't go wrong with this system. Read more
These speakers are really great and the satellites deliver a natural mid range. They merge very well with the subwoofer to bring movies to life. The soundstage is very wide and at times I'm almost convinced that there's a pair of surround speakers behind me. The only downside is the volume control which uses an analogue potentiometer (possibly dual-ganged). This generates a scratching noise when adjusting the volume sometimes.
