A nice change of pace, and hopefully the beginning of a new genre, The Club can best be summarized as a hardcore gamer’s type of game. Taking the time to perfect runs is a blast, and unlike most shooters, it can also be used for short gaming sessions. If you enjoy a good challenge and arcade-like games that empower you with bragging rights, you’re going to love this game’s nerve-shattering pressure. Read more
Are you the type of gamer who obsesses about reaching that top score? Trying to climb the leaderboards by memorizing levels and executing pinpoint perfection is an old-school trait that most modern games have long since abandoned. Disappointing. The discription is promising but the game doesn't live up to it. Nothing wrong with the graphics but the movement isn't fluid and the actual shooting is poor compared to other shoot 'em ups. Maybe this game would have seemed better if I didn't have Call of Duty 4 or GTA, as The Club just doesn't compare. Read more
While The Club doesn't do anything to advance the shooting genre, it does do everything else well. While it's not a great game, it is however, a fun and well polished game. Just don't expect this to replace Call of Duty, Halo, or Resistance. Read more
Time and motion studies come to the world of third person shooters. If you‘ve played PGR then you‘re going to have an understanding how The Club works. Yes, you‘d be right in thinking there couldn‘t be two genres further apart but PGR was just as much about attaining high scores and Kudos points than it was coming... Read more
