The DLA-HD1 is a front projector that has a contrast ration of 15,000 is to 1. It is the first projector that sports a native contrast ratio, that is, it is not dependent on the iris mechanism to get the maximum contrast based on the brightness of each scene. It can produce a pixel structure of 2 million using 0.7 inch 3-chip DILA system with a resolution of 1920 by 1080.
Features
The JVC DLA-HD1 projector has a gray scale reproduction. It uses the capability for variable lens shift, with an HD range of 150 Mhz to give a super details in digital format. It has dual digital inputs that are 1080p capable. It also has other inputs for the HD video component, S-video, and composite video. This projector also consists of digital and analog input modes. It uses a 2x zoom lens by Fujinon, a shift function for wide lens, and user friendly adjustment menu that can be accessed with a remote control.

I have had the DLA for a few weeks and find it a excellent projector, in the past i have owed a pnasonic 700 and was going to buy the new 2000 untill the price droped on the jvc. i did find i had to tweek it just a bit colour -5, contrast -5,found it best on user 1 , image cinema , bright 1, give this a try because it does work, let me know if anyone has a better setting plesae let me know Read more
