This is by far one of the best routers on the market. Coupled with a 3rd party firmware from DD-WRT (v23 SP2 or V24), this router becomes a powerhouse full of features. With 3rd party firmware this box can be used as a PPTP vpn gateway, SSH proxy server (great for accessing blocked web sites over SSH), and so much more. i currently own this wireless router. it's not as technologically advanced as the wireless n router. but i've had it for almost 3 years now and it still works great. i can pretty much go anywhere around my house (first floor, basement, etc.) and the signal never changes. if you're just looking for a basic wireless router that will get the job done, this is the best wireless router. It only takes about 5 minutes to turn this box into an awesome vpn-server/client-firewalling-bandwidth-shaping wireless router by replacing the linksys firmware with OpenWRT 7.09 (Kamikaze). OpenWRT is an incredible platform especially compared to less open firmwares like dd-wrt. I have about 10 of these in production and they've been working great for the last year. Read more
