Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 features many modes. It is a fast-paced and crazy shooting game. If you are playing this game for the first time, then its better you start with the training. Battles can occur anywhere, the skies, the ground or even underwater. To better play this game you must have quick timing, and the player must know when to use the powerful projectiles and other special moves to his advantage. Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is one of the most complete Dragon Ball Z games. The game modes players can participate are: Dragon History, Dragon Net Battle, Ultimate Battle, Dragon World Tour, Duel, Ultimate Training, and Evolution Z. Dragon History is the main theme. It starts with finding your way through history. To make the game even more interesting, each battle opens with a short narration of what is going on. There are also tournaments, online play, and a place to unlock items and modify your favourite characters, training mode, and a few others. The Tournament mode features many of the classic characters. The graphics are wonderful. The characters look great. Their movements and special attacks are swift. However the backdrop is unexciting, it looks dull and monotonous. The sound is good though, each mode is narrated by a character. The presentation is marvellous.

The sheer amount of playable characters and arenas offer plenty of variety. Unfortunately, the story mode has taken a step back; owners of the previous game will be dis... Read more
Ultimately, Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 will be of most interest to those who love the TV series. It's not for everyone, that's for sure. Is it worth forking out £35 if you've got the last game? Probably not, since Spike hasn't added much to the mix, and, some would say, has nerfed the Dragon History mode. But if you've never played a Dragonball Z game before and like the show, or don't watch the show and just fancy a decent fighting game on the Wii (and don't mi... Read more

If you're looking for a good fight game and don't have a Budokai in your possession, then this one isn't a bad purchase. However, don't buy it for te online mode or the extra characters as you'll feel ripped off. Also the changes in gameplay compared to the game's predecessor don't justify a purchase. In short Dragonball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is no doubt the best and most complete fight game on the Nintendo Wii, but that's mostly thanks to the lack of competition. Read more
