The basic story is the release of Hannah Montana’s newest CD whereby she starts her worldwide tour. Through the character you travel from one place to the other doing many different things like sightseeing, shopping and communicating with concert’s fans. While at the same time cooping with Hannah’s hectic schedule. A certain reviewer quoted that gamers not familiar with this famous TV character will be surprised at what a little exercise can do for their button mashing skills. Being this character gives you new opportunities and way to take your career a step closer to stardom. Graphics scenes of the concert backstage and behind-the-scenes are provided and screened. They somehow look familiar. Comedic dialogues together with bad puns and laugh tracks are spoken by the characters so as not to show any difference between the TV characters and the characters in the game. Using the Wii Remote or the Nunchuk enable players to point up, down, left, right, at the screen, and even at your heart. It can even be used as a microphone when Hannah is playing air guitar, making clapping and reverse clapping motions, and pointing with both hands at the same time. Fans of the TV star will love this game treat.
See lessI'm not a fan of the show, and in fact, have never watched it until recently, a bit like doing research prior to playing so I would actually have an idea of who Hannah Montana is. It only took a few bits of episodes to know I wouldn't enjoy watching it, so I'll be honest - I really didn't want to play the game. In Hannah Montana: Spotlight World Tour for the Wii you play as Hannah on a tour of some major cities in the world, including Rome, Tokyo, London, Paris, New Y... Read more
What do you get when you mix the play style of a DDR with the structure of Guitar Hero and mesh it together with the latest pop sensation (who also happens to be the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus, yes that Achy Breaky guy)? What you get is Disney Interactive’s latest Wii effort Hannah Montana: Spotlight World Tour. Sure if you are not female and under the age of thirteen then this game is probably not going to do much for you, but as it is Avalanche Software has done an... Read more

As is often the case for young budding musicians full of determination and ambition, launching a successful tour is nowhere near as glamorous as it's frequently portrayed on TV (unless you happen to be among the rare few to be picked up by a major label willing to throw buckets of money at you). Sure it may seem like all fun and games, but it's also hard work. In reality, going on tour with your band typically means driving in an old junker of a van across country for... Read more
So here’s the thing. Hannah Montana isn’t like a super-awesome game or something, but if you’re like me and totally just had to go to the concert last weekend, you’d at least play this for a while. If Hannah Montana is like so last week to you though, just go play Guitar Hero, or maybe even DDR on Wii. I mean, that game has motion too; it just doesn’t have Hannah, ya know? There’s some fun stuff in there if you like kinda easy games, but it could be like so much bette... Read more

November 27, 2007 - I purchased Hanah Montana because my kids love anything that has to do with her. I was glad that I could get my girls a game they enjoy. I want to keep them interested in video games so I can have someone to play football games against when they get older. I really enjoy watching the littles ones have fun dancing around the room while they do the moves on the controller. It's a lot of fun. Read more
