Even though it could use a detail job, Cars is a fairly fun racing game for your little ones. Like I said before Cars is truly only for kids or the avid fans and really no one else. This is mostly true because the fans can look past the poor gameplay elements, the weak graphical presentation in certain spots, the average but sometimes lackluster sound effects, the overall simplicity…and the kids just won’t care. Had Cars featured a really great arcade-style driving model, it would be recommendable to anyone with a passing interest in the movie, but as it stands the game is left riding in the slipstream of the movie and a number of great mini-games.
